Report of the Water Commissioners
Of The North Raynham Water District
May 28, 2009

To the Citizens of the North Raynham Water District

The Commissioners of the North Raynham Water District respectfully submit the following report of the operation and financial statement.

Three new services were installed giving the District a total of 1379 active services.

This year the District pumped a total of 137,359,000 gallons of water, an increase of 3,516,000 gallons from the 133,843,000 gallons pumped last year.

The Treasurer's report shows the District to be in sound financial condition. This was confirmed by the independent Auditor's Report Parent, McLaughlin and Nangle for the F/Y 2008.

The System Development and the District's Money Market Accounts, Certificates of Deposits and Capital Savings Accounts have yielded a total of $57,735.00 in interest in F/Y 2008 as of 06/30/2008

The Demand Fees for new water installations generate $13,285.00 in revenue for the F/Y 2008 as of 06/30/08.

The System Development fees for new water installation generated $26,610.00 in revenue for F/Y 2008 as of 06/30/08.

King Philip Water Treatment Plant
Construction of the new filtration plant is almost complete. The project is running on time and on budget. The filtration plant is scheduled to be completed by the end of April 2009. Testing and start up of the facility will then take place and we anticipate the filtration plant to be on line by or before Memorial Day Weekend. The filtration plant will resolve the increasing levels of iron and manganese and the new Bedrock well will help with the increasing demand for water.

District Annual Water Quality Reports
The annual water quality reports will be mailed to each resident by the required DEP July 1st deadline.

Meter Replacement
The District has replaced forty two meters between July 2008 and March 2009. This increases the accuracy of the water readings, which in turn generates more revenue for the district and helps to reduce the districts unaccounted for water. The 2008 unaccounted for water was 6% of the total 137,359,000 gallons pumped.

Website
The district is pleased to announce that we now have a website for the North Raynham Water District www.nrwd.org. Information regarding rates, water conservation and other important town links can be found. The district has online payments available just click on : Online Payment on our website.

In closing, the Commissioners want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for making this District a success.

Respectfully Submitted,
