Special Meeting

To The Residents of the North Raynham Water District,
Enclosed is the warrant for the April 26th, 2007 special district meeting to be held on April 26th, 2007 at the Raynham Middle School Auditorium, 420 Titicut Road. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. Article 4 of such warrant relates to the construction of a new well and water treatment plant. It is expected that the special district meeting will begin with an informational presentation regarding the projects to be financed pursuant to Article 4 and the new filtration plant and financial plan. This special district meeting is being held after the District was included in the latest round of low interest (2%) funding thru the State Revolving Fund. The District, after long and careful consideration of several options is prepared to present a plan explaining the districts goals of improving water supply and quality concerns for the present and long term.
We look forward to a good turn out for the presentation and voting. Please bring the enclosed warrant with you along with any questions you might have. Certain deadlines have to be met to comply with the requirements of the loan program and this vote is the first of many deadlines the District is attempting to achieve.
