Water Operations:
The hours of operation for the district are as follows:
Water operations between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm
Office hours 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Weekend coverage is on a rotational basis and is done 365 days a year. Flushing of the water mains are done twice a year (May and October), with a notice being published in the Taunton Daily Gazette.
Water System Improvements:
Notification is given by door hangers when water service is to be interrupted by a scheduled job. Please flush out your service line for 5 Minutes or more prior to use.
Emergencies (water main breaks, system failures):
In most cases, the priority is to stop the flow of water since extensive damage to personal property can occur. If it is possible to give a notice prior to a shut down, district employees will go door to door, and leave door hangers if nobody is home.
